DIN Rail Mounting Resistance Monitor (RMP)

Code: RMP

TECHNICAL FEATURES

* Monitor Resistance Changes In Vulnerable Applications (Such As Trace Heating Elements Becoming Open Circuit)
* Load Changes Due To Fluctuation In Supply Voltage Will Not Affect The Operation Of The RMP
* Din Rail Or Surface Mounting Grey ABS Cases
* Wide Range Of Supply Voltages Available
* LED Indicators For ‘Power’ And ‘Relay Functions
* Use Our External Current Transformers For Higher Loads

OPERATIONAL FEATURES

On application of a continuous supply voltage, the ‘POWER’ LED illuminates, and the resistance monitoring of the load commences. If the current exceeds the level selected on the top scale of the unit (assuming switch ‘S’ is closed), the internal relay will energise and the ‘RELAY’ LED will illuminate. The RMP will revert to its original state if the load current falls below the selected level. A fall in line voltage will not cause the relay to de-energise. If the external switch ‘S’ is opened or closed during monitoring, this will not cause the unit to operate as this is not a true ‘fault condition’. The RMP incorporates a short delay to ensure external transients do not create false fault conditions.
